Modern Mutts Inc. is looking to add a reliable, light-handed, empathetic groomer’s assistant to our team! We hold a very high standard here at MMI and have deeply embedded core values. As a Groomer’s Assistant, you will be required to bathe and dry both small and large dogs, assist with dogs who need extra support, cleaning (lots of it!) and basic admin duties.
We are looking for someone who is flexible! Shifts vary. This is a part-time position.
Required experience/skills:
1+ year of animal handling experience is considered an asset but not required as we will train
Basic knowledge of dog behaviour and breeds. Further education will be provided
Exceptional customer service skills. Going above and beyond is expected for each client
Basic computer skills
